Selecting Tubers for Shipping
Every tuber is checked for overall health multiple times during storage and again when packaged.  The eyes will be marked for you with an arrow. Tubers will have one or more of the following types of eyes:
  • Dormant eyes: these are still asleep and look like a crack, pimple or blemish on the crown.
  • Awake eyes: these are beginning to open and resemble a small pearl. Eyes can be white, green, pink, purple or red.
  • Sprouted eyes: a full sprout developing out of an eye. Sprouts can be white, green, pink, red or purple.
We do not guarantee that the tubers will be big and beautiful.  When it comes to dahlias tubers, size does not matter, even the tiniest tubers are mighty and will produce many gorgeous blooms. We do not offer refunds based on the "beauty" of a tuber.

Variety Labels and Packaging
Each tuber is identified with an abbreviated name and includes a specific ID card. We ask that you please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you notice an error, email us within two days of delivery and include a photo of the tubers. We will provide a replacement or refund for verified errors, but please be aware that all sales are final after this 48-hour window.

Shipping
  • Please ensure your shipping information is correct! We want to get your dahlias to you quickly and securely. New shipping fees will apply if we have to reship your order due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
  • Regardless of the size of your order or where we are sending it, shipping will be a flat rate of $16.
  • We do not ship internationally.
  • Missing Packages - We cannot be responsible for packages lost/delayed/theft/marked as delivered. USPS will ONLY reimburse recipient and not the sender. We recommend that customers visit their local Post Office with the tracking number.
  • Dahlia tubers will be shipped mid April when temps remain above 36 degrees.

Processing Orders
When we print the shipping label, you will be emailed a tracking number for your order.  To increase efficiency, we may print multiple, if not all, shipping labels on the same day. However, it may take us days to get your order put together. So, if you don’t see your order moving along, it simply means it’s still being packaged. We do not substitute variety. In the event of "OUT OF STOCK" or the unfortunate "CROP FAILURE", a refund will be automatically issued.  Orders are packaged in the order they were received.

Customer Support
There are a few things that will void our guarantee. Our policy is limited to the purchase price of the tubers only. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.  Deadline for tuber viability is 2 days after receipt.
  • Multiple photos (with the identifying label visible) are required to clearly show us the problem. No photos, no guarantee.
  • Cutting or altering the tuber will void the guarantee
  • We absolutely do not offer customer support via social media, we return email inquiries only.
Trust is a big deal and goes both ways. Again, referring to that original photo of your order will be handy.  Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If you are not satisfied with the quality of your order, returns are required with our labeled tubers in the original packaging for a "no-questions-asked" guaranteed refund. The package must be returned within 5 days of delivery.

Variety Concerns
If your dahlia grows into a beautiful plant, then blooms with a flower that you did not order, please reach out to us and we’ll help you ID it.  For replacements, we require proper photos/video of our logo’d tuber and the bloom by August 1.  We trust our dahlia friends but do require verification that the tuber has our identification. The credit will be issued for a replacement of your choice.

Safe Planting
Dahlias are vulnerable when sprouting from tubers in the Spring. Any tuber that is planted outdoors in garden soil or in a pot before the tuber has broken dormancy and produced an eye or sprout, cannot be guaranteed.  This is simply because there are too many factors that can affect the tuber.
  • Rodents will nibble at tubers, slugs and snails can eat the eyes as they emerge or decimate young plants, even cats and dogs can accidentally dig them up.
  • As long as the tuber has a viable eye, it's up to you not to kill it.
  • All varieties sprout at different speeds and patience is required with some more than others.
Therefore, it is important to document the condition of your tubers on arrival and before planting out.  It is the responsibility of the customer to manage the growing conditions.

Customer Conduct Policy
We kindly ask that all communication remains respectful and constructive. As a small farm, we are dedicated to supporting our customers and are always happy to answer questions or provide clarification when needed.

Thank you for your understanding and for shopping with us.
